I can't help but feel sorry for myself these days.
First, I get hit with this chronic lower back pain 6 years ago now that has prevented me from doing the sports I love to do: Aikido, running and snowboarding.
Then I get tendinitis in my right wrist, which is totally preventing me from doing what I most love to do these days: knitting.
And most recently, ever since the 2nd pregnancy, I've developed a bad case of GERD, which prevents me from consuming the foods and drinks I can't live without: chocolate, coffee, beer and tomatoes!
I know that when life hands you lemons you should just make lemonade. Much easier said than done, though. I suppose what I could and should do is quit my belly-aching and move on to other things. But it's hard.
So I'm at my parents' place for a week now - the perfect opportunity to get some serious knitting done. I literally knit 2 rounds on Lucy's Tunic and had to put it down because my damn wrist hurt too much. ARGH!
Oh, and my baby's got a bad cold right now. I'm probably just too sleep-deprived to be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I promise my next post will be much cheerier!
