I'm like a crack addict who lives in a crack den, surrounded by crack that I can't touch.
But in this case, crack = yarn, and this damn tendinitis is preventing me from playing with my glorious stash to my heart's content. *sigh*
I even went so far as to contemplate quitting knitting altogether and selling my yarn, but I know that will never happen. I'd rather hang onto that small shred of hope that someday I'll be cured and can once again knit as much as I please.
So for the past few weeks I've been slooooowly working away on a couple of projects for Xmas. I think this is the first year I haven't gifted hand-knits for a bunch of people on my list since I started knitting 4 years ago. What a shame!
The 3 pics posted here are of the yarn I acquired at the knitting retreat last month. The 1st and latter are Lorna's Laces yarns (lace weight and fingering), both in the special retreat colorway, "Autumn Wine". The Tilli Tomas yarn is a sample skein we received upon registration. I think I'm going through a "red phase" with my yarns...
It's taken me at least a full week to compose this measly post. There's CONSTANTLY a little munchkin on my lap pressing keys, coughing mucous onto me or begging for food...

Damn tendinitis! Give up knitting?? Sell your yarn?? Oh god. You could at least regularly look and stroke your yarn. I really hope that there is some kind of cure...no-one should be denied yarn especially yarh whores like us :) Oh and that little munchkin turns one soon right??!! tomorrow? Happy Birthday Lily in advance!!!
