Well, the friggin' tendinitis in my right wrist is acting up again, so I'm forcing myself to take a break from all crafting (ie. knitting, crocheting, cross-stitching). Sooooooo bummed!
These are a few projects I've put on hold:
The other morning while I was helping Momo pick out an outfit for the day she asked for a "cow shirt" (?).
I guess she's moved on from being completely obsessed with puppies to cows now.
So I scanned a cute picture of a cow from one of her books and made a cross-stitch pattern of it using PC Stitch. Then I bought a cheap onesie in pale pink and some 25 count waste needlework fabric to baste onto it.
Last night, I managed to stitch on the two pink cheeks, two black eyes and a spot, but then had to put it down 'cause my wrist was hurting too much. Argh.
Hopefully Momo won't grow out of this onesie before I'm able to finish the darn thing...
I have one crochet project on hold which I can't mention since it's a surprise for my mom, and all the other projects are knitting.
The one piece I'm just dying to start is "Wispy" from Kim Hargreaves' spring collection. Unfortunately though, I don't the think the colour of yarn I ordered (Puff - a pale blue) is quite right for me, even though my husband insists that it is. We shall see. The reason why I ordered that particular colour is becuase it was on sale, like ridiculously cheaper than all the other colours. Who knows though, it could very well become my new favorite colour...?
